littlejim
Yesterday I felt well enough to take the top off the carby fuel bowls and blow any crud(*) out with compressed air, check the float levels(#) and stick them back together, with a smear of silicone gasket stuff on the gaskets. (* there was a small amount of crud in the rear one, front looked clean) (# rear looked fine tiny adjustment to front which looked as though it had been played around with before). Today after I started it up, and got it to operating temperature, I was able to get it to idle pretty well at 800/900 RPM. The day before it idled at 1500 RPM with all the idle screws out of contact!!!!!!!!!! "We just do 'em folks! We don't explain 'em." - R.
