Nick Webster
Chanced upon these three photos of a Peerless in restoration. If you scroll down the comments the photo owner says it is for sale. http://www.flickr.com/photos/paulcowie/3427786923/ Nick
choc-ice
the photo owner says it is for sale Anyone have a view on if its value looks right? I'm sort of tempted but picking up someone else's restoration can be even more of a challenge than starting your own!
TR 2100
Anyone have a view on if its value looks right? I'm sort of tempted but picking up someone else's restoration can be even more of a challenge than starting your own! From the two photos I could see, and judging mainly by the engine bay, what's been done appears to have been done well, which probably means everything that's done has been done properly. BUT - I can't see the price anywhere. What is he asking? AlanR
simon iregbu
He mentioned that he was looking for 4,500pounds. Simon
TR 2100
He mentioned that he was looking for 4,500pounds. That's very good value in my book. As in cheap. AlanR

choc-ice
Car seems to be good from the description and most of the parts are there. I'm just arranging to see it in the next week or two. Prepare to be pestered about restoration questions...!
dykins
Before you get too excited and buy it over the phone/internet, the car appears to be in Durban (South Africa) Might be worth getting a quote from a shipping agent before doing anything else. choc-ice
Before you get too excited and buy it over the phone/internet, the car appears to be in Durban (South Africa) I might be missing something (very likely), but according to the vendor it's in Oxfodshire? dykins
I might be missing something (very likely), but according to the vendor it's in Oxfodshire? Looking at the 5th comment down (from DickyW), and by clicking on the vendor's profile which states he lives in S.A. On the other hand, perhaps it is in Oxfordshire and it doesn't actually belong to the guy who posted the photos. Regards Peter Edited April 24, 2009 by dykins
