I have also been informed that MGF wheels will fit My7 Can any of you guys help THANKS Hi stansoldman, 165/175 sr13 are about as wide as you can go without rubbing on the body or flaring out the Guards. MG TF 15" and 16" wheels will fit as they have the same stud pattern, I fitted 16" with PIRELLI 185/50R16 tyres this keeps the speedo accurate to within 1 km/h at 100 km/h and gives an amazingly comfortable roadholding ride to my TR7 Sprint. Alec Pringle Posted March 7, 2009 Report Share Posted March 7, 2009 185/70 is the largest sensible fitment for the standard 5.5" rim. A wider section tyre is of no real benefit. Utilising a rim width of up to 7.5", 205 section tyres of 60 profile or lower are as wide as you can fit with the wheelarch lips rolled back, employing uprated (stiffer) suspension.
