The r and f (as in front and rear) after the numbers just mean that they have the float bowls handed for use as a twin set up. I dont have my SU reference book to hand but I can check in the morning for application data.

Hi Stuart,

from memory, the usual SU variants were

AUC 878 for the TR4,

AUD 209 for the TR4A,

AUD 284 for the TR4A USA spec

and the usual Stromberg variants

C1825 for the TR4

3043 for the TR4A early

3069 for the TR4A late

Cheers,

Alec

Spot on Alec as usual!

The AUD209t reference denotes a pair. Consisting of an AUD 209r and an AUD209f.

Stuart.
