Brake Lines

Hi,

 

I have purchased an Automec replacement brakeline kit and notice that each one is numbered, I could guess which fit where, but will probably get it wrong, does anyoneknow what the numbers on the yellow plastic bands mean

Might they refer to the numbering in the Parts Catalogue? For example:

1 - Master cylinder to Connector (splits to feed front right, front right and rear)

6 - from Connector to front left

15 - from Connector to rear

22 - from 3-way connector on axle to right rear

23 - from 3-way connector on rear axle to left rear

 

25 - Clutch Master cylinder to frame bracket

Dear Keith,

 

I think you will be able to view a version of the Parts Catalogue at Moss's on-line site. I don't think the Moss numbering will be identical to that in the original ST Catalogue - having had a look at my paper copy of a 2003 Moss Catalogue, I suspect not. However, the picture may assist.
