Mark D
Hi, I am looking for a fast idle (choke) cam for my 1971 PI TR6, I also need the link rod which attached to the returm spring which is fitted to the cam, the original one fitted to my car have fallen off and dissapeared. Rimmers and Moss no longer list them and I've tried everywhere without any joy. Does anyone have one laying around or have any ideas on where I can get one. All help appreciated. Thanks Mark
Stoker
Hi mark I know the feeling. I have one left over from when I converted to a revingtn linkage, which uses a different cam. You are quite welcome to it for the cost of postage. You can either ring me on 01803 782762 or email john@jt100.plus.com as for the linkage wire, could you not make one from the old standby wire coathanger All the best John
Mark D
Hi John, You are a gentleman, I would be very grateful if you would let me have your cam, I've sent you an email. Thanks for the suggestion for the spring link rod, do you know where on the body it connects to so I make one of the correct length? I really appreaciate the assistance, this has been a major pain in the rear! Cheers Mark Hi mark I know the feeling. Andy Moltu
Why - you don't really need fast idle at all?
