HAB832C
In getting my 4A restored, the original wiper motor was lost and I've ended up with a bit of a mongrel as a replacement. Can anyone tell me the "angle" number stamped on the original gear in the motor. Apparently this sets the sweep angle of the wiper blades and the gear is different for various applications of the Lucas motor. Moss no longer quote for the part. After five years of work, once the wipers are fixed and the seats fitted, we're off for the MOT! With thanks and best wishes, John & HAB832C
graeme
Hi John, I have recently stripped my TR4A wiper moter and it is fitted with a 120 deg gearwheel which I believe is original. My spare is 110 deg which I have been told will also be acceptable. Graeme Edited March 15, 2008 by graeme

On my previous Triumph I had a mess of bits and pieces, which looke right but weren't. I bought a clapped out correct motor (from the junk box at autojumble show) with the right angle and just used the gearwheel and arm from it. Mike
