I'm just trying to "upgrade" my 4's boot and the standard boot trim kit leaves the inner wings exposed. Mine are well and truly covered in a well known waxy substance which is brilliant for rust prevention, but not particularly easy on the eye every time I raise the boot lid. Regards Peter Peter As far as I can tell the 6's boot is totally different so the short answer is no The slightly longer answer is that the side panels maybe cut to fit but it would be a butcher job. Rob Salisbury Posted January 2, 2008 Report Share Posted January 2, 2008 Hi Peter, I made this well intentioned mistake absolutely yonks ago,('bout '72/73!) best thing to do is completely clean off the rust prevention and then, if necessary, repaint the panels in body colour and top up the seams every year.
