Tayside Classic 2022
TR Register at the Tayside Classic Car Show Sunday 12th of June
On Sunday the weather was bright and dry, but putting up the gazebo was a challenge in the wind. We had 17 entries ranging from a TR3 to a TR7 V8.
Car of the show for me on our stand was Meason's 1969 TR6 which is the Autocar road test car and the first right hand drive built.
Many had travelled from the Clyde Valley Group to support the event which gave everyone an opportunity for a TR catchup.
There was also the bonus of the large car boot sale if you were fed up of looking at the various vehicles in the show field.
The Club Stand had a lot of interest from club members visiting who where not showing their cars and the public.
Mick Conway one of our group spend a long day doing the commentary in the show ring and did a brilliant job.
The organisers of the show the Tayside Classic Car have donated £61,640.69 over the past 14 years from this show. This event is extremely well organised with plenty of marshals showing the entrants to their stands, making sure the visitors are supported and helped as required.
