Glavon Group at Milestones Museum, Basingstoke - 17th March 2024

After a stop for breakfast and coffee at Cobbs Farm Shop and Cafe near Hungerford, it was onwards to Milestones where members from both Glavon and Kennet Valley Groups met up and had an excellent day taking in the amazing range of exhibits, which varied from small household items which were once common place, to big lorries, steam rollers, cars etc. Many of the recreated shops and other buildings really set the period scene, with a recreated art deco garage being particularly notable.
