Glavon Group at Limpley Stoke - 19th-21st January 2024

TR Register members and friends from various parts of the country, again converged on the Limpley Stoke Hotel for a great party weekend to banish those post-Christmas winter blues. On the Friday evening most people dined in the Hotel, after which a quiz devised by Jane Jones kept everyone entertained . On Saturday, guests were free to do as they pleased during the day, including enjoying the sights and shops of nearby Bath, walking the tow path of the picturesque Kennet & Avon Canal and visiting nearby Frome with its ancient cobbled streets (pictured below).

In the evening, a number of us sought to explore how many people we could squeeze into room 39 for pre-dinner drinks and the answer, was quite a few more than the camera was able to capture! 

The three course dinner that followed was excellent and there was plenty of opportunity to work some of it off on the dance floor afterwards to some great music from 'our' era!

Many thanks to all those who had a hand in making the event such a success, particularly Jane Jones and Lesley Swain who is now taking bookings for next year's bash!
