Glavon Group New Year Walk - 7th January 2024

The New Year Walk is always popular and this year the weather was cold but sunny after seemingly weeks of rain and floods. The location was Mallards Pike Lake in the Forest of Dean which offered walks of varying length to suit all abilities and the picturesque surroundings were at their best in the winter sunshine, The small cafe also did a good trade. Afterwards it was a short drive to The Fountain Inn at Parkend which does an excellent roast at a very reasonable price and where just one TR could be found in the car park!
