Glavon Group Run to Avebury - 8th October 2023

The weather was more like mid summer than October, for this, the last scheduled run of the season. Starting from Tetbury, the run took us via favourite fast sweeping roads over the downs to Marlborough before heading to Avebury, famous for its ancient stone circle, earthworks, manor house, museum and so much more!

Everybody was free to visit the various sites that they wanted to, before heading to Calne and the home of TR Register founders, Terry and Val Simpson where tea and a delicious selection of cakes was enjoyed by all.
