Glavon Group at Hartsop Farm BBQ - 4th June 2023

Nine Glavon TRs met at Cirencester for a run up to Burford Garden Centre for a coffee stop and rendezvous with two more TRs and a stag from Wye Dean Group, before continuing to Hartsop Farm, near Witney. 

Hartsop Farm Equestrian Training Centre is owned by Ian and Sandy Vandenberghe who are friends of popular and very active TR Register members John and Yvonne Walker who live nearby. Hartsop Farm provided an ideal venue for a BBQ to raise funds for two charities; 'Children With Cancer UK.' and Antics Supporting Children Affected by Cancer', the latter charity set up by the Vandenberghes and named after their beautiful stallion 'Antics' who was brought in and paraded for us to admire.

Members from a number of groups including Glavon, Cotswold Vale, Ridgeway, Kennet Valley, Wye Dean and Chiltern enjoyed an excellent BBQ followed by a selection of delicious cakes.

A total of 29 TRs and six other sports cars made a great display in the summer sunshine

The event was instigated by John Walker, who, with much help from his family and friends put on a very successful event which raised a significant sum for the two charities.
