Glavon Group at the R.E.M.E. Museum, Lyneham - 5th March 2023

Despite temperatures not many degrees above freezing, five TRs were present for a visit to this very interesting museum, showcasing the work and tools of the Royal Mechanical and Electrical Engineers. Exhibits ranged from firearms to huge vehicles including mobile workshops, lorries and tracked recovery vehicles. Afterwards 29 members and friends motored up to The Crown at Broad Hinton to sample their renowned carvery lunch which didn't disappoint!
