Glavon Group at Limpley Stoke 20th-22nd January 2023

The Limpley Stoke Party Hotel near Bath was filled to capacity for this year's Party Weekend which is always guaranteed to banish those winter blues. Members from around the country started arriving from early Friday afternoon and there was ample opportunity to catch up with friends over tea and biscuits. A large proportion of guests enjoyed dinner at the hotel that evening, which was followed by a very entertaining quiz devised by Jane Jones who had to run between the two lounges and the bar to deliver the questions to the teams which filled all three rooms. During the day on Saturday, everybody was free to do as they wished and many from other parts of the country took the opportunity to visit the beautiful city of Bath nearby. Saturday evening saw the main event with an excellent three course dinner followed by a raffle and a disco for the energetic. 

The sun rose beautifully over the Avon valley on Sunday morning  and after another good breakfast it was time to check out and head for home. Many thanks to Lesley Swain for organising another excellent weekend and we now look forward to next year's get together.
