Glavon Group Tulip Tour - 4th September 2022

A good turnout of 14 TRs, undeterred by a poor weather forecast, rendezvoused at Whitminster Garden Centre for one of Noel and Ange Jones's  excellent tulip tours. The route firstly took us through some delightful Severnside lanes and villages before climbing up into the Cotswolds and following some very picturesque roads to a stop for coffee and cakes at The Cotswold Barn near Stow on the Wold. 

The homeward leg involved a good blast down the Fosseway before reverting to more Cotswold back roads to finish, after 100 miles, just a stone's throw from where we started, for a late lunch at Fromebridge Mill. A great day out and never did see any significant rainfall!!
