Brunel with Glavon at the Castle Combe Autumn Classic

This time last week we were at Castle Combe for the Autumn Classic to watch some great classic cars racing around the circuit. But there is much more than that. On arrival the TR Register Glavon Group gave us a warm welcome with offers of coffee tea and cakes, as they always do but we never like to take it for granted. So we sit and chat with them for a good catch up, then it's time for a look around our TRs. There are plenty of other single marque car clubs to have a good walk around, and multi marque, location based, clubs which I quite like. The paddock is always interesting where you can wander around all the competitors classic cars and chat with the owners, there was a great Lotus marquee this year with examples of all the classic Lotus cars, and the was a great jazz band and singers providing light entertainment all day long. On top of that, there are people to meet that you have worked with in the past and meet up with every year. I usually walk around the circuit but I ran out of time this year, oh, and I almost forgot, there was classic car racing going on all day as well! So, sorry not a single photo of cars racing on the circuit.
