there and a Happy New Year to you all, my resolution is to break my
limited mileage on the insurance as soon as possible!!!
Right then - get your diaries at the ready.
1)
23rd of January - MG and Triumph
spares day at Telford-Event has been postponed. mgandtriumphsparesday TR Register
2)
24th of April - Drive it Day - Bob
will be organising this event so please think about joining us and I
will be asking for numbers after February Club night in order to give
an indication for catering.
3)
1st of May - The Ipswich to
Felixstowe Run, this appears to be fully booked but you may be lucky
so go to their website quick. Even if you cannot take part it is a
brilliant day out so take your classic to Felixstowe, walk along the
front and view all the cars whilst having an ice cream before the

12th of June
- Euston Show - great day out for all the family a real country fair,
I am awaiting entry forms will let you know as soon as available.Euston
5)
10th
July
- Culford at the school (this has taken over from Elveden) not one
that we have been to before as a Group but last year was a success
with 500 vehicles, expect a lot more than that this year. We have
secured 8 places for Abbott and Stour. Please contact shows Organiser

will be a charge of £8.00 per car, 100% to go to charity. Could this
be a challenge as to how many people you can get in a TR just before
the entrance???Culford

7th August -
Helmingham - the best show for quality classics in the area together
with food, music and stalls. Again I await entry forms and will let
you know as soon as possible. It is likely that this will be a very
popular event so get in quick.Helmingham

17/18th September -
Henham Steam Rally - yes I know that we have not yet got to the
point of coal fired cars but a good day out, we normally go as
individuals on the Sunday-will let you know re entry as soon as
possible.Henham

AND THE BEST TILL LAST 3/4th August - we will have TS2 in the
Group. The plan is that we will locate the car at The Manger on
Wednesday 3rd August for members in the west
of the Group to have a chance to drive her, this will begin at 9.30
am until last drive at 6.15pm. If you were one of the five people who
put your name down when this was first mooted in late 2020 do not
worry I will contact you to confirm date/ time. I do have 3 spaces
available on this day - contact me asap if you wish to take part. On
Thursday 4th TS2 will be based in the Woodbridge/Ipswich
area, at present I have one place confirmed and therefore have seven
spaces left - again let me know asap.TS2

Finally
the FBHVC in association with Tree V have a tree planting scheme
whereby members can offset their carbon footprint by making a
donation towards planting native trees. If interested go to their
website to find out how much it would be, my own 6 at 3000 miles is
£48.76. Trees/FBHVC
