Ralph Whitaker
As the gear lever on the 3 is straight and can be fitted either way round, should the anti rattle spring and plunger be at the front or the back, or does it make no difference? It`s just that my lever is notchy to go from 1st to 2nd, or 3rd to 2nd and I wondered whether the plunger is catching. It is easy to swap so I might just try it the other way round and see if it makes any difference. Ralph
Trumpy3
Good question. I have always fitted the plunger to the rear. Brian
Trumpy3
Just checked the book. It shows them to be fitted to the rear. Brian
