lee
I’ve had a spare hard top now for circa 15 years. It came off my 13000 1 owner 6 which has long gone. It’s Pimento but old original paint. Absolutely zero rust on the rear underside where they normally start. Headlining good. One rear deck panel missing. All complete aside from this. what kind of money could this command. I see most advertised are rusty or plopped so it’s hard to gauge?
Steve 286
Decent hardtops seem to make around 1000 and £1500 All I would say is don’t give it away a real rough one will make 500 quid
AJAS
There are a couple of eBay at the moment and there was at least one on the forum classifieds a week or so ago
BlueTR3A-5EKT
And we struggled to sell new hardtop shells in primers with headlining for £75.00. We also had fully finished in body colour and glazing with fitting kits that sold for £250. Get in your TARDIS and pop back to 1988.
lee
Thanks Chaps. A £1000 sounds decent enough I guess.
Steve 286
How about putting it on eBay with a £1000 start price with good pictures you may find you get two or three bidders and it could surprise you what it may make
