Hi all, after replacing seals, cork washers in the carbs realized the jet height adjustment nut is seized on the thread of the lower jet bearing and the pair of them just rotate within the jet locking nut.

Any ideas? Tried penetrating oil, heat but no go. Guess it's possible thread is crossed, is this why I couldn't sort out running rich

Used a disc cutter, damaged the ( lower jet bearing ) simply ordered that and mixture nut from rimmers.. Could have saved several hours of frustration
