Tim T Posted October 4, 2023 Report Share Posted October 4, 2023 Can anybody please confirm if this is a TR5 frame. It was removed from a very late car, CP3093, supplied new with a Surrey Top. Reason for asking is that it does not look the same as the frame on my other car, CP2675, which was supplied new with a soft top. stuart Posted October 4, 2023 Report Share Posted October 4, 2023 (edited) Thats correct for a factory Surrey equipped car, we did discuss this a while ago when I came across one of those brackets one Ebay as listed for a Surrey top on a 5. Rare item and not often seen due to lots of cars being converted from soft tops. Its to stop the header capping being crushed when the hardtop is bolted down.
