Chris Hubball
I have a standard Lucas single speed DR3A wiper motor on my TR4 the wiping arc is perfect not dropping off the bottom of the screen , but when I switch off they park about 2 1/2 inches from the bottom of the screen. I seem to have read somewhere that the parking position car be adjusted by rotating the domed cover on the wiper motor , is that correct and by doing so will I alter the sweeping arc causing the blade to drop the screen ? Cheer Chris.

Cheer Chris. Yes you can alter the park, be careful as the red wire on top of the domed cover is very close to the inner wing drip rail and is live with ignition on. It doesnt effect the sweep at all but it will probably only need a very small adjustment to correct, Dont do it with a dry screen as you`ll probably find the slop in the mechanism will confuse the final position.
