ken foster
I still have the original front bumper which I replaced with a new one from the TR SHOP in the 80s, (which is USA spec... protrudes further forward) TR shop were honest enough to tell me it wasn't concours compliant for my 1970 UK car. Question... should I get my old bumper dents knocked out and retain, or sell on if they are no longer available? Or... take it to the dump? Worth keeping or scrap? Mark69
As you say no longer available and not easy to find either, I gab mine repaired and re plated. Wasn’t cheap but keeps my 69 looking period.Got to be worth something to someone.

I've never really looked at the difference before, I was just happy to get the resto finished wth a nice shiny bumper. ( 30 plus years ago ) From what you say I should not scrap my old one. Cheers Ken.
