A round of the club championship. not just because of the glorious weather and Michelin star hospitality of fellow competitors the Holdcrofts in they corporate hospitality and transport truck, but the seemingly never ending number of runs. we had 2 practice and 6 timed runs. We only stopped you to timing technical hitches. HOWEVER the club desperately needs support with entries. They were significantly below break even point for the Liverpool Motor Club and they can’t afford to make these losses. it’s a fast open track and for the GP aficionados there is still some 1950’s tarmac that they have saved ( the forming up area) that is the original tarmac of the GP circuit that the likes of Fangio raced on. a good club house for catering and drinks, proper loos straightforward to get to. so please if you see an aintree event on the calendar sign up they are great value. perhaps this could be linked to the Facebook club champs page ? as I don’t do Facebook …… Edited June 25, 2023 by Hamish Quote Link to post Share on other sites
