AndrewMAshton
Hello, fitted 7 years ago and lately have noticed the occasional reluctance to engage, like a poor earth, a click, put it down to the fact I have been fiddling with the electrics and made a mental note to add it to the growing list of things that 'needed looking at.' After a fairly long motorway run stopped for petrol and when coming to leave starter would not 'start.' Checked all the earths, fine, di notice the starter was hot. After it cooled down, tried again and bingo, off we went. A couple of questions, is there a simple check I can do to check the starter or can I send it away to be looked at, as always, thanks in advance, Andrew
