Hi all

any one out there had any experience price wise with these companies that spray chrome on plastic! The price of new items are (oh my days!!)expensive,if you can get them , so I was wondering if getting the originals spray chromed would be viable

any thoughts please

I understand the results look very good, but are not nearly as durable as real chrome.  The actual chrome-like coating is so fragile that it has to be clear coated, so the final finish has a durability similar to paint.

When I refurbished my tail lights, I used very high quality foil tape on my brake lights only (t, the stuff they use for heating ducts here in Canada (not pliable Duct tape) and the results are extremely good for the price;)
