ed_h Posted June 9, 2022 Report Share Posted June 9, 2022 I understand the results look very good, but are not nearly as durable as real chrome. The actual chrome-like coating is so fragile that it has to be clear coated, so the final finish has a durability similar to paint. Ed Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Gavia Posted June 10, 2022 Report Share Posted June 10, 2022 When I refurbished my tail lights, I used very high quality foil tape on my brake lights only (t, the stuff they use for heating ducts here in Canada (not pliable Duct tape) and the results are extremely good for the price Quote Link to post Share on other sites
