Gap between window side window and roof

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a small gap between the side windows (both sides) and the roof and wanted to check if it is possible to adjust the winder or regulator so that it pushes the glass flush, or almost flush to the roof.

[and yes my left thumb and wrist are splinted due to a broken thumb!]

Thanks

You can alter the height by moving the stop plate for the winder and also alter the angle by shimming the slides for the glass. You will have to remove the door card. You can also move the ally channels that hold the rubbers under the hood frame though they can be problematical as you often need to file out the holes in the frame. Also FWIW it looks as if your hood isnt the best fit as it should be pulled further down on the side to cover more of the velcro.
