Misfit
TR7 lights having a lot of fun, headlights fine pop up and work, side light near side worked. Off side No. Checked all fuses and Cleaned all terminals also Checked earths. Turned lights on nothing, none, next time the off side lights on. Great, whoops, near side off. As the Fog light switch had disintegrated, I decided to replace all the switches, but the connection plug don’t fit. I’m confused, firstly because the sidelights can’t decide which sides going to work if at all and secondly while there are a number of different fog light switch, there is only one light switch type. So why the light switch didn’t connect to he plug and the male and female points don’t line up.
HowardB
Please recheck all your earths as this usually is the route of the problem - when you have done that check them again very carefully. Only if that doesn't work, see the attached drawings with explanations of the various strange circuits..... H TR7 electrical dwg UK 81 DHC.pdf
