David Clarke
Hello All - I have a 1972 CP TR6 ; please could someone tell me where the choke (cold start) cam return spring linkage, the long piece of wire lying beneath the air inlet manifold assembly and attached at its upper end to the return spring and its lower end to an anchoring point, is attached to the underlying offside inner wing ? Is difficult to see between the manifold and the wing but I can’t see an attachment lug, hole, loop, etc. Many thanks David
John L
There is a hole in the top the r/h engine mounting that I fit mine to. John

John I also hook this spring into the RH engine mount, using a length of coat hanger wire I bent specially for this purpose many years ago. Nigel
David Clarke
Thanks John and Nigel - I can see the small round hole in the top of the engine mounting and it would make sense to anchor the linkage and return spring to this, rather than the more ‘mobile’ body/wheel arch.
