Bfg Posted April 14, 2020 Report Share Posted April 14, 2020 Mick you'll find on ebay and the like fine brass gauze, which with a soldering iron can be easily used to repair your own or indeed to replace all of its gauze for finer. I've done this for motorcycle oil filters and also for their petcock (petrol on/off valve) too. If you are unsure of the process I can send you a link to my photos. Pete.
