1954 Tr2 OLJ 559

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Hopefully someone can help me find out what happened to this car.I first acquired it in 1976 from near Swansea for £250 . It is actually a very early car, around TS 680ish if I remember correctly. The wings, boot and rear panel were all fibreglass ,however I managed to pick up all the rear panels locally for £50.I then drove down to Balham to buy a pair of the first front wings supplied by Cox and Buckles. The car had been changed to a short door prior to my ownership.

This all occurred while I lived in Cardiff, we moved to Carlisle in 1981 and in 82 I sold the car and I understand it was sent to the Netherlands.

There should be details on the register including the actual TS number, hopefully someone might know something.

As an aside,I have the original green log book somewhere, and in the cars early life it belonged to the artist David Shepherd.

Hi Cameron,

PM sent.

According to your 1977 membership form you gave the commission number as TS645, however an earlier owner gave it as TS654 so I guess one of them is a typo.   We have no further record of it and the DVLA have the car as last taxed in 1983 so could well have gone abroad then.
