Thank you for your good explanation.

I plan to do the rebuild myself (not the first time), but outsource any machining.

Getting the proper TR parts is where I lack experience.

I do not care so much about originality for the components inside the engine, when alternative parts are better quality.

It would be nice if we could make a list of components (make, type, spec, and where applicable the vendor) for all internals.

You mentioned the first one in your above post: IWIS timing chain.

People can then decide if they want to use this or not.

Any more recommended parts, sources, anyone?

I am willing to prepare an excell sheet that we can all benefit from, if people are willing to share.

Not sure how to save this list for future reference then.

There may be differing opinions, as often, but it will give many of us a better start.
