Static Timing Ignorance

As the title suggests, I've never carried out this procedure.

 

Rather than rig up a bulb etc I'm simply going to use the continuity circuit on my Fluke Multimeter.

 

My ignorant question is (and I may be answering my own question), am I right in assuming the "low tension" lead is the cable between the dizzy & -ve terminal on the coil?
