I have changed the cable and when i move the butter flys by hand, they feel smooth. The accelerator is only notchy for the very first little bit, but smooth after that. Any suggestions are welcome. DaveN Posted September 14, 2016 Report Share Posted September 14, 2016 (edited) Take the pedal out and replace to two bushes with polyurethane ones. One bush is on the bracket the inboard one is in the body structure accessible from under the bonnet. simple task shouldn't take more than an hour. Whilst it is out check the bracketry that the cable attaches to to make sure it's all square and straight and there are no cracks.
