I'm want to have some new tyres on my other car, I understand the new Euro ratings for fuel and wet functionality, is there any connection with the rolling economy and the wear rate?

If I choose a B rated tyre for economy, will it wear faster than a tyre that has a economy rating of E?

I have had E rated economy tyres on at present and have done very good mileage, will the B rated ones really give that much more economy?

Are there any other markings that would indicate the wear rate?

John
