Hiding the wrinkles

Recommended Posts

Between the top scuttle pad and the white painted dash is not a pretty marriage, many wrinkles appear for the scuttle tops aren't of the quality they were.

So I did the hide it job, a piece of 1'" alloy from B@Q £5.75, and a piece of vinyl 2" wide glued around some ammeter cable, the ends are sealed with a small piece of heat shrink.

It works reasonably well, its the second time I tried this one, but you MUST leave the bottom quarter bolts in the a posts (loose) or they won't go in after the jobs done, the dash angle is wrong.
