History knocks on the door

Recommended Posts

For a couple of years I've tried to track down the guy that made the nuts and bolts restoration of my TR6 in 90-92. Out of the blue he phoned me yesterday and said that he finally had tracked his old car to me! He also had some photos he will send, the enclosed photo is to an example, unfortunately of very low resolution.

That's really great. Its good to see old photos. Its all digital now,

As well as my TR6 I also have a 1957 MGA which was imported from USA and restored by a guy in the 90's. I managed to trace him and he sent me loads of original photos of the rebuild. He tells me it came with a hard top which he stored in the roof space of a neighbour's garage. The neighbours died and the house has been empty for a few years, as far as he knows the roof is still there. Be great to get it.
