Peter Cobbold
First Aid Kit. The leggy blonde will do nicely: As long a she wears long tights, pop-socks are no go.
TR5tar
Thanks for all the fantastic suggestions. I think, as Tim says, what I'll carry will depend on the type of journey I'm making and how confident I would be fitting a spare (not very in most instances). Breakdown cover and well charged mobile phone will probably always be first on my list. I particularly liked Miles' suggestion about carrying a maintenance manual on a memory stick (or hard copy), as well as the suggestion to carry a parts lists. Both useful for helping the bemused breakdown bod. Off to the Motorists' centre now to buy some bits. Darren P.S. Peter, I wouldn't mind taking that First Aid Kit, but it would be a struggle to get two in the boot, and I think there's some law against it anyway.
