tr7v8
Got my Silver Standard TR7 back on the road with some new panels, still needs some cosmetics (well and whole car respray to get it to match, lol) but it's up and running for the kent weekender. Changing the gearbox and clutch tomorrow so I don't need to double declutch anymore - the synchromesh is nacked (I must be one of very few younger drivers who even knows what double declutching is, confused my mates anyway ??? ) Well with the new arrival of the 'le Mans' drag car and the Humber Series 1 Super Snipe almost back on the road it's looking up, just have to wait for mum to start whinging about her TR4a rebuild again... Cheers all, Tom Pringle
tr7v8
As an aside I have to admit to scraping a TR7 this week our red rolling shell we bought last year was decided too rusty to be worth saving so it was stripped of its suspension and cut up into bits for the scrappy, actually a wrecking bar was all that was needed to knock most of it apart - scary There is a pair of savable doors, a good roof, and boot floor and rear panel. I also have several trim bits, PM me if interested A sad day...
