Jersey Royal
Hi All, I currently have one of the front wings removed. I note the bonnet drains into the inner wing by the A post, and water will lay on the cills, not good. Now would be a good idea to provide a channel or some such to collect water and divert it away from the cill. I have done a search and come across drainage applied to a Tr6 http://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/35328-plenum-drainage/ What have you done to your Tr3a in this respect.? I am replacing the door hinges , and currently having issues undoing the screws. Dont have an impact driver so will give that another go when i have one. Thanks Guy

Don Elliott
Guy For hinge screws that won't budge, you can drill out the countersunk part of the head (don't get into the hinge flank) and when the screws permit you to lift off the hinge, you can apply a penetrating oil on the rusted threads and maybe an hour (or a week) later, you can draw them out using a vice-grips pliers on the extending end further forward where you have removed the front wing. That's how I did mine on my 1958 TR3A. Don Elliott, Original Owner
Jersey Royal
Thanks Don for that. Fortunately for me i was able to remove the door hinges with an Impact Driver. Unfortunately i managed to smack my knuckles a couple of times Thanks Again Chaps Guy
