had17462 Posted August 18, 2012 Report Share Posted August 18, 2012 (edited) Hi all the chassis rebuild is coming along, i bought the goodparts rear driveshafts and conversion brackets for the nissan diff about 3 years ago ,just read the instructions and ive got to remove the the front shaft, but having real trouble ,any ideals whats the best way to do it,[apart from not putting it in] regards nick. had17462 Posted August 19, 2012 Author Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 Ian ,sorry I didn't explain it very well, I need to take off the front shaft where the propshaft bolts up to,because the stud pattern where it bolts together is different,I've,e now found an old link from Ivor and he built a frame to stop the diff moving about while he attached the conversion brackets, I was wondering if I could mark out the stud pattern and drill the holes in situ but iam worried it could be a little offset if I don't get it perfect,what your thoughts, does Ivor still post on here as he would be the person to ask unless anyone has done the Nissan diff conversion ?
