mafield
The front side light bulb has a shield around part of the bulb, and the lens has a clear section in its circumference. On the originals fitted on the car this shield is below the bulb, with the clear section of the lens facing upwards. A recent purchase of a replacement unit through the Register has this reversed, i.e. shield above the bulb, and the clear section of the lens facing down. Does anyone know which is the correct way? stuart
Shield should be above the bulb. Stuart.
mafield
Thanks, Stuart. I assume then that it is a bulb heat protector for the plastic lens. Regards, Michael F
stuart
I would say its also to shine the light forward and down as well. Stuart.
