Lord Flashart
Just checking some stuff over on the car as its raining and is forecast to for the next week at least. The instuctions that came with my cam state that the number one intake valve should be at max lift when the crank is at 103 degrees ATDC. Just checking I've not buggered anything up, but No1 inlet is actually no2 valve correct? Paul Edited June 17, 2012 by Lord Flashart
TR 2100
Whey aye man. How are ya checkin' 103 deg ATDC, like? AlanR Edited June 17, 2012 by TR 2100
Lord Flashart
Degee wheel on the crank man! Maybe be no ATDC, but the crank is rotated 103 clockwise as per the distructions supplied by moss. Paul
Chilliman
Paul - The answer to your question is 'yes' - you are doing it correctly using the first inlet valve (2nd valve back) to match with the 103 degree timing for your cam regards John
Lord Flashart
Cheers. I thought so and with a little thought, I must have got it right when I installed the cam or it wouldn't be running. I did a few of these jobs after my surgery last year and I can't remember doing them so I'm just checking my own work. Paul
