Graham Harris Posted April 30, 2012 Report Share Posted April 30, 2012 Hi Martin, I asume you are using an adjustable reamer, if so back it off a bit it shouldnt need oil. You will also find you have to go all the way through with the reamer each time you change the cut . Check the size regularly as you cant put it back on if you take too much off. Regards Graham. Bob Smith Posted April 30, 2012 Report Share Posted April 30, 2012 Martin, Just to reinforce Graham's comments; you should be looking to remove the smallest quantity at each operation, aim to remove something in the order of 0.003" diameter each time - do the operation slowly and take your time!
