Hardtop and LTD posts

Recommended Posts

I've just had a steel hardtop restored by TRBitz and it looks fantastic sat on the car. Combined with a modern heater it's made the car much more winter friendly !

The workshop manual doesn't mention it, but do I need to remove the LTD posts and hood webbing fixings before attempting to fit it properly ? The LTD posts in particular look as if they would stop it sitting properly.

Thanks

Andy

Not normally but you may find they dig into the back of the headling a bit.The original studs had flattened tops and werent a problem but the repros are more pointed and can give problems like that.
