recently I've been trying to get the new Surrey top to fit. Greatest leap forward was to rake the windscreen back as far as I could (with plenty of help from the forum). As it is within a few thou of being OK, with a couple of female studs to be fitted later, I thought I'd try the tin top. This revealed the suspicion about window height with the Surrey to be correct. It was down a couple of inches. The blue book was no help, but http://www.tr4aresto...n.blogspot.com/ was. It told me about the bolt in the door that governs window height. (#2 in piccie)

to get the front rubber up to the top I had to trim a bit off the section that goes in the metal track

PS. how do you get the pictures to line up laterally. I'm only qualified in vertically.
