As I was saying I dissconnected the cable at the head and twisted the inner cable and it span freely.Should it be free or should it only rotate when driven by the gearbox drive?So do I have jus a bust cable or a broken speedo ar a drive problem, any ideas? RogerH Posted July 31, 2011 Report Share Posted July 31, 2011 the inner cable shouldn't spin freely as it's connected to the angle drive/gearbox. The cable or angle drive are suspect. Pull the inner cable and if broken should pull out. Roger Quote Link to post Share on other sites
