roybr
Couple of weeks ago had my first experience of driving the TR2 in torrential rain, and, given the weight of rain, the hood and sidescreens coped very well, The biggest problem was a drip onto my left knee which was coming from the wiper spindle, turning the wipers off stopped it, but when they were "wiping"| it was like a tap. I've noticed a rubber sleeve on the spindle, but can't find one listed as a part anywhere and I don't fancy buying a new wheelbox. Are these rubbers available and would this be a cure, or is it just a knackered wheelbox spindle causing the problem? All contributions welcome, except, wrapping a Bin-Liner round mi leg. stuart
As far as I know its not available. You could try a bit of heat shrink on the shaft. Stuart.
